President's Message

Greetings Tigers!

On behalf of the Alumni Association’s Executive Board and as President of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter, I extend a heartfelt greeting and a warm welcome to our community!

​

As a cornerstone of the Atlanta area, one of our primary goals is to foster excellence in achievement and build a vibrant network of Texas Southern University alumni, friends, and family in the metro Atlanta area. We strive to uphold the university's mission and values, creating a space where we can all thrive together. Our passionate group is dedicated to raising scholarship funds, establishing meaningful relationships, and empowering both students and alumni to succeed personally and professionally.

As your advocates, we are constantly seeking ways to serve our community’s needs and represent our university with pride, grace, and dignity. We believe in the power and richness of HBCU culture and are committed to honoring that legacy.

I invite you to support our Alumni Association by becoming a member. We welcome non-graduates, friends of alum and alumni family members as associates. Membership gives you access to all of our activities and the exciting opportunities within our community. You can also contribute by participating in our fundraisers, making a donation, or directing prospective Tigers and other Texas Southern individuals our way.

Let’s stay connected! Follow us on socials, attend one of our monthly meetings, recommend a student for our scholarship, or cheer on our teams. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact.
